Program Objectives: To identify economic and staffing problems in
health
care and how these impact on New Mexico. Possible solutions -involving
economic development and educational systems at both the state and
national level - will be presented and discussed.
*Accreditation
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with
Essentials and Standards of the New Mexico Medical Society (NMMS) through
the joint sponsorship of the Greater Albuquerque Medical Association
(GAMA) and NMMS. GAMA is accredited by NMMS to provide continuing medical
education for physicians and takes responsibility for the content,
quality, and scientific integrity of this CME activity.
GAMA designates this Continuing Medical Education activity for up to a
maximum of 4 credit hours in Category 1 of the Physician's Recognition
Award of the American Medical Association. Physicians should claim credit
commensurate with only the actual time spent attending a CME activity or
in studying a CME enduring material.
