The New Mexico Medical Society is proud to be recognized by the Accreditation Council of Continuing Medical Education to accredit organizations to provide continuing medical education (CME). We can help you locate approved courses in New Mexico and we can help groups with which you are affiliated to provide accredited hours in your community.   Participate in the panel and earn two New Mexico Specific Category 1 CME credits
• Clinical Prevention Initiative (CPI)
  CME enduring materials are available for tobacco cessation and prevention counseling and for colorectal cancer screening. Experts are available to speak on all CPI intervention topics: childhood immunizations, pneumococcal vaccination for adults, tobacco cessation and prevention counseling, colorectal cancer screening, mammography screening, chlamydia screening, and problem drinking screening. To Provide Programs with CME Credit

If your organization wants to provide a program and award CME credits, there are two ways to do it. The first is to become an accredited provider of intrastate CME and the second is to have your program "joint sponsored" by an accredited provider.
