May 14, 2020 – How the budget deficit is handled directly impacts medical practices large and small, rural and urban. Carrie Brunder, NMMS Chief Lobbyist, developed a powerpoint to give an overview of the NM Budget 2020, 2021, 2022, and the June 2020 Special legislative session. She presented this to membership via Zoom on May 14. NMMS’s goal is to protect physician practices from repeals and cuts that will be decided on in June and in January 2021.
