The New Mexico Medical Society along with the Greater Albuquerque Medical Association have partnered with Practice Management Institute to provide a state-wide training initiative for affiliated medical practice staff.

In this joint effort we are excited to provide affordable medical practice specific training and certification opportunities to our members and their staff. This partnership supports our strong commitment to enhance the knowledge base of medical practice staff through education with the goal of providing easily accessible resources from industry experts. 

Courses begin in late May 2024 and run through the end of the year. Course offerings will include A/R management, claims processing, coding, ICD-10-CM Coding updates, patient collections, and front desk success. There will be two certification opportunities in October for a Medical Office Manager and Certified Medical Coder.
