The 2026 Legislative Session is just around the corner and your voice is more important than ever. Join your colleagues with the New Mexico Medical Society on Wednesday, January 28th for White Coat Day, a day for physicians, residents, and medical students to come together and advocate for healthcare in New Mexico. Whether you’re a first-time participant or a returning advocate, your presence helps shape the policies that impact your patients and your profession. The day begins at 8:00 a.m. with a networking breakfast and policy briefing, followed by guided and independent visits with legislators. Participants will have opportunities to attend committee hearings, be recognized during the floor sessions of the House of Representatives and Senate and engage directly with policymakers.
